We are now renting our Piper Arrow 200 (N2865R) to outside renters. You will need an airport badge that we will help you get but can take up to a week to get because of a five-year background check. To rent the Arrow you will need an airport badge, all FAA and School required documents, a private pilot license, instrument rating, complex endorsement (which you can get with us), a minimum of 5 hours with our instructor and a minimum of 25 hours in type. Rental rate is currently $195/hr wet and our instructors are $75/hr. Checkouts are only valid for 6 months and a new checkout will be required which would be a minimum of one flight. None of our aircrafts are allowed on anything but a paved runway. No back country flying. 0 2024 Was an AMAZING Year!!!!
With just over hundred students last year, almost 50% of them hit a major mile stone with us. We had 19 students solo for the first time and 30 students pass a checkride. We helped 15 Private Pilots, 5 Instrument students, 4 Commerical Students, 3 CFI and 3 CFII reach there goals. And Carmels 1st time major accomplishment was we got to help our now Instructor Dominic go from walking through the door wanting information on our school and discovery flight to hiring him this last June. Its been AMAZING watching Carmel Aviation grow. We can't wait to see whats to come in 2025.
